1) Optional Upgrades
We think everyone should have two numbers. A 2nd number for calling, texting, voicemail, and even sharing with your colleagues to answer business calls for you when you can't! When you sign up, you'll start a free 7 day trial of our service, but as companies grow and need change, extra bells and whistles can be nice to have. That’s why we offer the following paid upgrades:
Voicemail to text – Get your voicemails transcribed and conveniently read them as a text message
*See your Sideline Settings for details
Salesforce integration – Access your Salesforce contacts and leads from Sideline’s phonebook. Then log calls and business communication so you can always be closin’. *See Settings for details
Sideline for Enterprise – Our team dashboard lets companies assign and manage multiple numbers for employees for $10/month per line, including but not limited to:
- International calling – With over 165 countries supported, staying in touch with people all over Mother Earth is easy. Unlimited plans are a flat and affordable fee of $15/ month per user.
- Auto-attendant – Create a virtual receptionist to greet callers and forward them to right person, place, or department. “Press 1 for sales, 2 for support, 3 for Toby.” That sorta thing.
2) Carrier Reliability
Unlike most calling apps that only work over Wi-Fi, Sideline uses your existing carrier network to connect calls. This means it works wherever your cell phone does and you can enjoy more reliable conversations. Learn More
3) Calls & Text
Placing calls works just as easy as it does with your main line! Same with messages. You can access your contact list right in the app to connect with people right away. All content will be displayed right in your Sideline inbox.
For plans with calling limitations, know that Sideline shares your carrier minutes. In other words, when you have Sideline, minutes get shared between your two phone numbers.
4) Custom Voicemail
You can record a separate voicemail greeting for your Sideline number. In your settings, just tap, “Voicemail Greeting,” select “Custom,” and “Record.”
If you explicitly reject an incoming call, that caller may be sent to your native voicemail inbox. The best way to prevent this is to let Sideline calls ring all the way through. Learn More
5) Getting Around
Sideline’s integrated inbox shows you texts, calls, and voicemails all from a single screen. Incoming calls ring on your phone like normal with a “Sideline” caller ID. To make a call or send a text with your Sideline number, just open the app.
To access settings, tap the gear icon in the top left corner of your inbox. From there, you can set custom ringtones, record a voicemail greeting, and more.
